WHAT YOU WILL DO :
The Program Therapist is an exempt position responsible for the clinical programming of the Adult Residential Treatment and Stabilization program (ARTS), including but not limited to the well-being of clients.
- Coordinate the overall delivery of the psychosocial rehabilitation services related to client treatment plans
- Provide individual and group mental health therapy services to ARTS residents
- Share on call responsibilities with Program Director for clinical issues
- Complete initial assessment of ARTS clients after admission in order to develop initial treatment plan and start development of discharge criteria
- Coordinate regular case staffings of all ARTS clients; review and update treatment plans, observation frequencies, and case staffing to include input from multidisciplinary team (Therapist, Licensed Practical Nurse, Mental Health Technician, and Program Director)
- Complete clinical comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Provide psychiatric rehabilitation and educational support to ARTS staff
- Maintain ongoing awareness of client's whereabouts including outings, weekend passes, medical appointments, etc.
- Assist the Program Director in maintaining licensure requirements
- Contact appropriate physician for emergency situations when necessary
- Ensure concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation, including but limited to, administrative, clinical, or case load requirements
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management and funding sources as directed by Program Director
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention
- Perform all other duties as assigned
