Job Details :

• 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience mandatory
• Patient ratio of 1 : 2 across all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with 4 weekend shifts per month
• May float to Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications : California RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred certifications : TNCC, previous charge experience
• Travel experience required with 50-mile travel requirement
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Care for post-thrombectomy and TNK patients requiring frequent neuro assessments
• Manage post-procedural trauma patients and medical surgical level patients
• Work with specialized equipment including EVD management, ICP monitoring, and post-cardiac arrest cooling protocols
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with primary focus on Level II Trauma ICU and Neuro / Stroke ICU
• Unit supports 18-22 daily census with 24 beds split between two wings
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
