Marys Place provides safe and inclusive shelter and services for women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. We operate several 24x7 family centers / shelters in King County. We serve hundreds of families moms, dads, and children, providing a safe place for them to be inside and together at night, along with food, showers, clothing, and access to housing and employment resources. Position Description
The Facilities Technician works in collaboration with the Facilities Manager and the facilities team to assist women and families experiencing homelessness, ensuring our buildings are safe and well maintained by identifying hazards, troubleshooting, and performing repairs.
This role involves filling in the gaps at all locations for coverage and high priority repairs. Locations are throughout King County , including Seattle, Burien, and Bellevue. This full-time, non-exempt position has an hourly wage starting at $28 / Hr. DOE . The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday , with flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. The hours are 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.
The Facilities Technician (full-time) position reports to the Facilities Manager and does not supervise other staff.
