Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you engage with visitors and staff, provide excellent customer service, and respond to various security-related situations. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any unusual conditions or activity in and around the location to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents and / or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as needed.

Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements :

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
