We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our dynamic team within the Government industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial tasks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role will require a keen understanding of government accounting, financial compliance, and knowledge of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). The Finance Manager will also be responsible for managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and conducting thorough financial analysis.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the overall financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, particularly those outlined by the GASB.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis, providing detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage and maintain balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, highlighting key financial indicators and providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial performance.
• Manage the financial risk of the organization, implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
