Job Requirements and Duties
- Bachelor's degree in Science.
- Food Manufacturing Industry experience.
- Supports and participate to all the internal audits.
- Developed, implemented, and maintained comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs, including HACCP plans and GMP protocols.
- Ensured compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards through internal audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interpreted and applied all relevant state and local health department regulations to maintain full regulatory compliance across operations.
- Led cross-functional teams in quality control processes, corrective actions, and preventive measures to uphold product integrity and safety.
- Review test results.
- Communicates all out of specifications (OOS) issues found during testing to management.
- Maintain all cGMP documentation.
- Train personnel on SOPs for testing, equipment setup and calibrations, and safety practices required for the position on all methods of data collection.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate quality control team members.
- Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
- Schedule and coordinate preparations for product inspections and testing.
- Work to resolve noncompliance issues with materials or final products.
- Ensuring and maintaining the calibration of all equipment and instruments.
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) documentation guidelines.
- Qualifying and working with external vendors, testing laboratories and calibration / equipment service providers.
- Documentation of log books, in-house calibration records, temperature and humidity records, etc.
- Ensure safe work practices for the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
