Southwoods Health is currently hiring a Surgical Scrub Technician at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio. The Surgical Scrub Technician will safely provide proper care and use of surgical instruments.

Essential Duties :

• Participates as a team member in support of patient outcomes and experiences
• Plans care in order to meet the needs of patient safely and effectively
• Considers cost containment by using resources appropriately
• Maintains patient privacy and ensures confidentiality of protected information
• Identifies patient and correct surgical intervention according to Policy / procedure
• Assembles supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures
• Arranges instruments according to scheduled procedures
• Inspects and confirms that instruments work properly
• Assists in storing and stocking supplies
• Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient and physician
• Monitors compliance with principles of aseptic technique
• Participates in facility trainings and learning opportunities
• Ensure all processes at responsible physician practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Full-time. Monday-Friday 6 : 30am-3 : 00pm. No evenings or weekends.
