Mandarin Chinese Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst Job Category : Language Services Time Type : Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start : TS / SCI with Polygraph Employee Type : Regular Percentage of Travel Required : Up to 10% Type of Travel : Contiguous US The Opportunity : As a Multi-Discipline Language Analyst (MDLA), you will serve as a key member of a threat analyses and strategic planning team supporting US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and other strategic partners within the SOFETOPS enterprise. You will provide intelligence and translation support for targeting, planning, and policy development for complex projects, offering insights to senior military and government leaders. You will incorporate Metadata and Publicly Available Information (PAI) into intelligence products and mentor less-experienced employees within the MAAP (I3C) and across the SOFETOPS enterprise. Responsibilities : Support SIGINT, HUMINT, and OSINT collection targeting emerging threats. Provide specialized linguistic analysis for multi-disciplinary intelligence activities supporting the SOFETOPS mission. Manage data tools and support enterprise integration. Analyze requirements of theater-specific operations. Coordinate with DoD and interagency partners for real-time threat solutions. Develop and curate a counter-threat data repository. Identify threat development trends to anticipate and reduce costs. Qualifications : Required : Current Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph. ILR Skill Level 3 / 3 in Listening and / or Reading within the past two years. At least two years of experience translating various forms of Chinese Mandarin, including technical and colloquial language. Experience in open-source research in the target language. Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research. Desired : Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations. Experience as a 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ directly applicable experience or 9 years of related experience without a degree. Customer-specific experience in targeting and intelligence analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with customer-specific reporting tools. Pay Range : The salary range is $78,000 - $163,800, influenced by various factors including location, experience, skills, and education.
