Job Summary

As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, evaluating ingredient suitability, and providing guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and medication storage. In a retail / community pharmacy setting, you will dispense both prescription and non-prescription medications, actively respond to prescription issues, and advise healthcare providers on medication selection and management.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Counseling patients on medication administration, side effects, expected responses, and storage.
• Monitoring patient health and progress in response to drug therapy.
• Adapting to new technology as the pharmacy profession evolves.
• Providing oversight and clinical supervision to pharmacy team members.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess comprehensive knowledge of drugs and their actions, as well as relevant state and local regulations.

Additionally, your license must be in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state(s) of practice and / or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by the position.
