As a Security Officer - Education Patrol in Auburn, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas at an education location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and offer peace of mind to students, staff, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment, all while upholding our values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, keeping in mind the needs of an educational environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.Observe and report any suspicious activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.Assist in maintaining access control at various points around the location, following client policies.Support Allied Universal leadership and work collaboratively with campus staff to address client needs and support a secure educational environment.What We're Looking For :
