Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care

Job Details :

• Coverage dates : 12 / 22 / 2025-3 / 31 / 2026 at Mercy Health Clermont Hospital, Batavia OH
• Outpatient clinic setting with 15-30 patients per day
• Documentation through Epic EMR system
• Treat various skin reactions and prevent skin breakdown
• Manage vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers
• Initiate preventative measures and provide comprehensive wound management
• Apply topical therapies and provide patient / caregiver education on care techniques
• Assess and treat draining wounds and fistulae
• Implement preventative actions to reduce incidences of pressure ulcers and vascular ulcers
• Provide instruction on proper wound dressing
• Supervise Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments
• Treat acute wounds, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, surgical non-healing wounds
• Manage various ulcers (arterial, pressure, venous insufficiency, diabetic)
• Address chronic venous insufficiency, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injury, and burns
• Utilize treatments including bioengineered skin, debridement, HBOT, incision and drainage
• Perform negative pressure-assisted wound closure, post-surgical incision management
• Conduct skin grafting, Unna Boot, and total contact casting procedures
• Must have active Ohio license (required) and BLS certification (required)
• ACLS preferred for HBO
• Temporary privileging potential available
• Facility reimburses for flight, mileage at IRS standard rate, hotel, and rental car

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
