Job description

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging in both CT and X-ray according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Operate Siemens CT and X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Perform exams including trauma, emergency, orthopedic, cardiac, and pediatric studies.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring safety.
  • Administer contrast media as required and monitor for patient response.
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, completeness, and proper labeling.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Epic and PACS systems.
  • Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and universal precaution procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical personnel to support patient care.
  • Float to other imaging units within scope as needed.

    • Qualifications

  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required.
  • Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (SCRQSA) required or pending at submission.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS may be obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent multimodality imaging experience required.
  • Experience preferred in trauma, emergency, pediatrics, and orthopedic imaging.
  • Proficiency with Epic, PACS, and Siemens imaging systems preferred.
  • Travel experience required.
  • Must provide personal radiation badge (facility does not supply).
  • No holiday RTO accepted.
