What you'll be doing daily : Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on tractors and trailersTravel to customer and company sites for mobile service callsTroubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake, and aftertreatment systemsComplete DOT inspections and ensure compliance with regulationsOrder and install necessary parts for repairsUse technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to identify issuesKeep work truck, tools, and equipment clean and organizedTrain and support entry-level technicians when assignedRecommend warranty or follow-up repairs as needed Knowledge and Skills to be successful : 2-3 years of experience in a related field; shadetree or informal mechanical experience will be consideredStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks independently with minimal supervisionProficient in operating and interpreting results from diagnostic equipment and toolsDOT certification required or willingness to obtain certification upon hireCommercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus About the Role The salary grade for this position ranges from $28.53 to $39.93 / hr. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted hiring range for this role is $29.00 - $31.00 / hr.
