Raytheon has an opportunity for a Material Program Manager (MPM) that will play a key role in working on a major classified Supply Chain Integrated Product Team.

The MPM will be the material focal for the program, directly accountable for ensuring overall supply chain performance. This individual will be able to exert influence on objectives and long-range goals and metrics of the program. The MPM must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and supplier management.

What You Will Do

Report on material risks and opportunities

Develop and execute supply chain strategies and plans

Create, manage and execute material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP)

Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11, and ensure compliant programs and adjust as needed

Have overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, Make / Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements

Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates

Develop and execute risk / opportunity plans to meet program objectives

Identify and develop opportunities for small business participation

Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS

Develop and track budgets, targets, sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP)

Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material

Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans

Prepare and present presentations (verbal and / or written) to key stakeholders

Interface with all levels of internal management

Work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience

Minimum 5 years experience in at least one of the following roles : Supplier Management, Material Forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Project / Program Management, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Subcontract management experience

Experience translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements

Experience managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
