Interventional Pulmonologist

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the regions largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Interventional Pulmonologist to join our faculty.

Position Highlights -

• Join our team of 20+ pulmonary & critical care physicians and 2 APPs at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. Baystate Medical Center is our 716-bed academic campus and the regions only level 1 trauma center and major referral care center.
• We offer a M-F schedule, rotating between our outpatient clinic and inpatient procedure service working collaboratively with different healthcare divisions, Residents and Fellows.
• Candidates will practice Interventional Pulmonology, pulmonary medicine, and Critical Care.
• Clinical research-oriented division with years of extramural support. Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of medical, surgical, and neuro-critical healthcare delivery and outcomes.  Medical education research is also available in collaboration with UMMS.
• Baystates academic environment is well-suited to promote your professional development and career goals.
• Potential academic affiliation appointment with UMass Chan Medical School Baystate.

Qualifications : ABMS BE / BC in Pulmonary and Critical Care; AABIP BE / BC in Interventional Pulmonology.

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range.  Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.  Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Pulmonary & Critical Care : $284,500 - $450,000
