Birch Agency is seeking Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team and work in the Long Valley, NJ area. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging lesson plans, providing instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities :

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional materials

Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment

Provide guidance and support to students, acting as a mentor and role model

Collaborate with parents / guardians to address student needs and concerns

Stay updated on current educational practices and trends

Qualifications :

NJ Teacher of the Visually Impaired Certified

Experience working with students in an educational setting

Strong knowledge of childhood development principles

Proficiency in instructional design and curriculum development

Familiarity with classroom management techniques

Experience working with students who have special needs (e.g., visually impaired education, speech therapy)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to mentor and inspire students
