Position Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Park Rapids, MN . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a low-volume ER with strong nursing support, no required procedures, and a predictable monthly schedule.

Position Details

Schedule : 8–10 shifts per month

Shift Length : 12-hour shifts

Start : September 2025, ongoing

Setting : Inpatient, low acuity

Support Staff : 2 RNs + 1 CNA per shift

Average Admissions : 1–2 / day (hospitalist on duty)

ER Volume : 10,000 annually

Call : None

Required Procedures : None

Job Requirements

✅ Requirements

Board Certification :

Emergency Medicine preferred

Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with relevant ED experience accepted

State Licensure :

Minnesota license or IMLC with LOQ in hand – required

Certifications : ATLS preferred

CALS with trauma experience accepted

BLS / ACLS – as per standard hospital policy

Malpractice History : Clean record preferred

Availability : Must confirm shift availability at time of name clear

Must include departure city and any travel / dietary exceptions at time of submission
