Account Manager ( AUTO MOTIVE - Americas) :
Job Summary :
The individual fulfilling this role will be responsible for developing and executing account management strategies for new and existing customers. The candidate will work with the AUTO business unit in North America to sell industry leading electrical diagnostic tools into the automotive repair industry. In this role, the candidate will interface with and leverage internal stakeholders including Sales Director and Commercial Sales team to enable the selling organization to successfully grow market share.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop sales strategies for different distribution channels (Mobiles, Warehouse Distributors, Parts Stores, etc.) within the automotive repair industry.
- Develop pricing strategies in an assigned region and evaluate customer growth potential.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Negotiate promotional activities with customers to grow sales.
- Schedule and participate in technical sales training for resellers and end users.
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Establish and regularly report on business outcomes and KPIs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor´s degree is desired.2 – 3 years of Automotive repair sales experience, especially from the automotive aftermarket; or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience will be considered.Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Approximately 20% travel to attend tradeshows and to meet with clients or potential clients will be required .This role is based in Charlotte, NC, and requires daily office visits. It is not a remote position.INDSW
