Overview

Asgard Resources is a growing company that owns and operates the Hazen frac sand mine and processing facility. The Hazen mine is located near the town of Hazen, ND. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.

Asgard is seeking plant operators to maintain and operate a sand washing and sizing plant and a dryer. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility.

Responsibilities

Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to maintain flow and quality of sand
Perform emergency and routine maintenance on plant equipment
Assist with various construction projects
Perform assignments outlined by supervision
Work safely
Willingness to learn new skills

Qualification

Previous mechanical or operating experience is preferred but not required

Ability to read, write and speak English

Ability to perform simple math calculation

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders / stairs

Ability to workdays or nights, 12 hr. shifts and OT is required

Ability to work independently or with a partner
