A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) collaborates with medical doctors to develop anesthesia care plans and administer anesthesia for various medical procedures. They are responsible for monitoring patients during and after anesthesia, managing their physiological status, and performing emergency measures as needed. This role also involves evaluating pre-anesthetic conditions, preparing the operating room, and ensuring safe anesthesia delivery.

This position in collaboration with a MD's, develops an anesthesia care plan. Provides IV sedation and / or monitored anesthesia care and / or administers general, regional or local anesthesia for a variety of surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

Monitors patients accurately and performs Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ventilation or life support measures during emergencies throughout the Medical Center.

Manages the patients physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed.

Assists with other departmental or professional duties as requested by the Manager of Anesthesiology.

Essential Duties :

• (25%) Perform pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation
• (25%) Prepares the OR Suite for all types of anesthesia
• (25%) Administers, manages, and monitors anesthesia care during induction, maintenance, and emergence
• (25%) Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluation
