Job descriptionPosition : Registered Nurse (RN) in Orthopedic In-Patient Unit Facility Department / Cost Center : 60555 Role : RN Specialty : Orthopedics Number of Openings : 1 Shift : 7P – 7A Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 Weekend Hours : Every Other Weekend Call Requirements : None Years of Experience Required : 2 Float Requirements : Yes Must Have Skills / Experience : Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) Preferred Skillset / Experience : Orthopedics Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Fractures (fx) Patient Population : Adult and pediatric orthopedic patients Patient Ratios : 5 : 1 Equipment Used : Traction Electronic Health Record (EHR) System : Meditech Dress Code : Scrub Color - black Unacceptable Attire : Not specified Required Certifications : BLS, PALS Client reserves the right to require additional certifications not listed Refer to LPNT checklist for most up to date certification requirements Shift : 7P – 7A (Night Shift) Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 Weekend Hours : Every Other Weekend Unit : Orthopedic In-Patient Unit Number of Beds : 18 Patient Ratios : 5 : 1 Equipment : Traction EHR : Meditech Supervisor : Leah Smith, RN Patient Population : Adult and pediatric orthopedic patients Orientation is weekly, on Mondays Local Rate : $45 (for candidates 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel) Housing Options : Airbnb’s, Hampton Inn (hospital discount available) Facility is a 154 bed hospital Most complex hospital within 70 miles radius Level 3 Trauma Center Level 1 NICU Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center Top 5% for nation's orthopedic outcomes Paris, TX is home to the U.S. Eiffel Tower and offers a low cost of living and historic downtown
