SCADA Programmer (Houston)

Job Title : Senior SCADA Developer

Location : Hybrid 3 days per week onsite

Type : Direct hire

Travel : 23 trips per year to field site (Pecos, San Antonio, Southeast OKC)

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SCADA Developer to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of SCADA experience, strong SQL skills, and a proactive approach to system optimization and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain SCADA applications and HMI screens
• Strong with writing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
• Support data integration between field devices and central databases
• Collaborate with field and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA-related issues in real-time environments
• Utilize Python (preferred) for automation, scripting, and advanced data handling
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and technology migrations
• Travel to field sites 23 times annually to support onsite deployments and field team collaboration
