Job Description :

PrideNow is hiring a Maintenance Electronic Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Trenton, NJ.

This position requires a Journeyman Electrician with advanced PLC experience and a strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-oriented, and capable of performing complex maintenance work with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Perform complex electrical and electronic maintenance, including PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Maintain, repair, and calibrate machinery and plant equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, relays, drives, and automation systems
• Use electrical testing tools such as multimeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes, and digital probes
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and drives
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency
• Train and assist apprentices and other maintenance staff as needed
• Maintain accurate records using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Follow all safety protocols and plant procedures
• Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement programs
