Who We're Looking For :

We're looking for a thoughtful, proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our growing Admin and HR team. This is a vital role supporting both day-to-day operations and the broader administrative needs of our firm as we grow across California and Washington State.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and natural team player - someone who notices the small details, loves keeping things running smoothly, and brings a considerate, solutions oriented approach to work. You'll collaborate with a tight-knit HR / Admin team and have the opportunity to grow your skill set in a purpose-driven environment.

What You'll Do :

  • Welcome visitors and keep our Pasadena office running with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage incoming / outgoing mail, deliveries and front desk logistics.
  • Maintain well-organized physical and digital filing systems.
  • Track office expenses, assist with check processing, and support payment workflows
  • Monitor and reorder office supplies, snacks, and beverages
  • Make coffee, start and empty dishwashers daily to help keep the office running smoothly
  • Directly support Justice Cares initiatives, with opportunities to support volunteer projects and community engagement.
  • Provide general administrative support to HR Team
  • Help plan team events, support onboarding logistics, and assist with internal communications
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, vendor communications and shared tools
  • Additional duties as needed

What You'll Bring :

  • 1+ years of experience in administrative or customer service support roles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and digital tools
  • Attention to detail, good judgement and great follow-through
  • Friendly, team-first attitude and strong verbal / written communication skills
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your work
  • Interest in mission-driven work and office culture
  • Benefits & Compensation :

  • Hourly Rate : $21 - $23 DOE
