Position Overview :
Independently licensed practitioner to provide individual and group therapy in a community-based outpatient clinic. Using Carelogic software, the Clinician will document all clinical services provided in accordance with DMHAS and SCSI expectations. The Clinician is expected to manage caseload assigned, including all documentation, in a timely manner, as well as attend team meetings and clinical supervisions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb stairs. The employee frequently is required to walk, talk and / or hear; Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes; Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications :
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent required. Experience providing assessments, individual and group therapy, discharge planning and referral services to adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Must be billable for services provided to clients with Medicare and private insurance coverage. CPR / First Aid Certified or eligible.
