Med Surg Tele Experience

Meditech Experience

Description :

The unit has 36 beds.

There are 32 staff members on the unit.

Staff consists of a mix of RNs and LPNs.

Patient-to-nurse ratio is 6 to 1.

Key equipment includes EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry devices.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.

Candidates should possess strong time management skills.

Critical thinking skills are also essential.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include heart catheterizations.

A positive attitude, friendliness, and helpfulness are valued traits in candidates.

Every other weekend commitment is required.

This position is a replacement for a contractor.
