Job descriptionRead and understand technical specifications Work independently, evaluate problems, and make sound decisions Analytical and conceptual thinking; adapt to changing conditions and demands Physical attributes required to perform essential functions of the job - lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, prolonged standing and manual dexterity.
This role will be for Operations Support in both Roanoke Rapids, NC and Randolph, VA for large scale utility construction projects.
Qualifications :
- Transmission line or heavy construction
- 9-10+ years with HS / GED
- 8- 9+ years with related Associate's degree or 7- 8+ years with related Bachelor's degree
- Full knowledge of construction, operations and maintenance of transmission lines; switching, tagging and grounding; concrete construction
- Basic knowledge of contract administration and OSHA safety standards
- Basic knowledge of computer programs
