About the Role :

Our client, an early-stage fintech startup partnered with a nonprofit affiliate, is seeking a versatile finance and operations leader to build and scale the financial, HR, and compliance functions across both organizations. This role is highly strategic but hands-on, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments and can balance innovation with operational excellence. The company is committed to ensuring its operations maintain integrity, compliance, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Manage accounting operations, payroll, cash flow, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and nonprofit regulations.
• Design and implement HR policies, benefits, and talent management processes.
• Oversee grants management, donor reporting, and funding compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, risk management, and organizational scaling.
• Optimize systems and processes to support rapid growth and organizational efficiency.
