Our beautiful Salon of 27 years located in the heart of Bloomfield, NJ is looking for the right person who is self-motivated, and ambitious and who can grow with our company as a Salon Coordinator. Must have salon / spa reception experience, excellent customer service skills is super dependable, works well with a team, can multi-task, and enjoys serving people.

As a Salon Coordinator, your role is vital with respect to client services, bookings, marketing, events, and retail sales.

Job Objective & Purpose : to provide consistent, high-quality experiences for our salon guests, manage daily operations / flow of the salon, and work closely with our team to hit company goals that promote growth. The Guest Experience Coordinator sets a positive example for the salon’s culture and maintains a smooth daily flow by understanding the needs of both our salon guests and team.

Job responsibilities include :

• Opening and / or closing the salon.
• Coordinate the daily flow of appointments, guest records, sales, and salon traffic.
• Answer salon phone calls, return messages, handle scheduling inquiries.
• Booking appointments.
• Checking guests in and out for their service.
• Maintain cash register and accurately manage transactions.
• Inventory management.
• Marketing and social media.
• Team scheduling.
• Organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the salon.
• Attend and participate in all general and team meetings.
• Maintain a polished, professional image and adhere to dressy code / grooming standards.
• Foster ongoing relationships with clients and build a repeat client base.
• Maximize the salon retail potential.
