Procurement Analyst

Scheduled Days & Hours : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30a-3 : 30p, 40+ hours, Full Time

Wages : $31-36 per hour

Ideal Candidate Criteria : Experience as a Purchasing Analyst in supporting procurement operations by identifying cost savings by analyzing purchasing data, monitoring supplier inventory, and identifying cost savings opportunities and process improvements. '

Job Duties : This role is essential to ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of food products, packaging, and supplies that support the companys distribution operations.

• Analyze trends, supplier performance, and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Assist supply chain manager with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supplier negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, information sheets, and finalized purchase orders within the companys ERP / procurement system.
• Support sourcing initiatives by researching market trends, identifying potential suppliers, and preparing bid analyses.
• Monitor supplier compliance with quality, food safety, and service-level standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, finance, quality assurance, and sales) to ensure product availability
• Generate and collaborate with the supply chain manager weekly and monthly procurement reports to track internal KPIs and supplier performance metrics.
• Assist in the development and standardization of procurement processes and best practices.
• Maintain communication between departments on issues and solutions.
• Create relationships with suppliers and vendors and maintain solid communication within them.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Needed : Basic speaking, reading and writing in English for paperwork and computer training purposes.
