PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.

Schedule : 4x12 Variable shift, rotating between days and nights ever week or two weeks

Float Requirements :  To all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments .

Unit Information :   MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients). The major conditions / most frequent diagnoses treated :  Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.  Typical patient ratios on days 1 : 4-5 and on nights 1 : 6-7

Requirements include, but are not limited to :

WI or Compact RN License

2+ years Med Surg experience

Trauma Level II experience

Travel experience

Epic experience

BLS (AHA) Certification
