Assist radiologist in the performance of procedures and provide the patient care essential to ultrasound interventional guided procedures. Position Details : Radiology Intern I - PRN Mercy - Waldron Qualifications : Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Licensure : Certification / Registration : Current BLS certification. Other : Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements : This individual must be capable of : manipulating X-ray equipment including mobile and other equipment; carrying cassettes; selecting and manipulating exposure factors, evaluating radiographs; lifting, moving and transporting patients’ continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to fast pace daily workload; communicating effectively.
