Responsibilities

As an APRN or PA in Perioperative Surgical with Ascension Seton, you will evaluate preoperative patients in a hospital-based outpatient clinic and uses evidence-based guidelines to optimize risk factors and health conditions. The goal of this service is to reduce perioperative complications and improve postoperative outcomes. You will collaborate with Perioperative Surgical Home interdisciplinary team members, coordinate with other specialties involved in each patient's care, and provide a continuum of care during the patient's perioperative journey. You will be based out of Seton Medical Center Austin and / or Dell Seton Medical Center UT. You will likely travel once a week to Seton Northwest, Seton Medical Center Williamson or Seton Medical Center Hays.
