EMI Services is in search of a skilled refrigeration technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities involve diagnosing issues by inspecting and troubleshooting components such as compressors and condensers, conducting routine preventative maintenance, replacing defective parts, and performing system leak checks. This position demands strong technical abilities in interpreting schematics, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical faults, as well as knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
Salary
$36.34 / hr. plus $4.93 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and componentsstoves, refrigerators, dishwashing machines, and other electrical household or commercial appliancesPerform routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electricalDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutionsMaintain accurate records of services performed and parts usedEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsStay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration and mechanical technologySchedule and prioritize maintenance and repair tasksConduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure efficient operation and safety complianceMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationCollaborate with other departments to ensure facility operations run smoothlyPerforms other related duties, as assignedEssential Skills
Use hand tools, test equipment and follow wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specificationsStrong knowledge of mechanical systems and best practicesExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficientlyProficiency in using maintenance management systems and Microsoft OfficeRequirements
High School Diploma or equivalent2+ years experience in food refrigeration systems and building maintenanceEPA type I and type IIValid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain onePass a pre-employment drug screening and background checkU.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installationsPreferred Qualifications
