Senior Security Consultant

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing secure-by-design solutions, with a strong emphasis on enterprise protection technologies. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of threat and vulnerability management, cloud security capabilities, and the ability to navigate various cybersecurity domains beyond product specialisation. Key Responsibilities

• Secure Solution Design : Lead the design and implementation of secure-by-design solutions for businesses and enterprise environments, ensuring robust security practices are integrated from the outset.
• Data Protection Expertise : Utilise data protection solutions like Microsoft Purview to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information while complying with relevant regulations.
• Cloud Security Capabilities : Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect cloud-based assets and applications, ensuring secure deployment and management in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Threat and Vulnerability Management : Identify, assess, and manage threats and vulnerabilities to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
• Framework Implementation : Apply industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and NIS2 to guide security practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identity and Authorisation Solutions : Design and implement effective identity and authorisation solutions to manage user access and enhance security measures.
• Incident Management : Conduct incident management processes, implementing recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans to minimise the impact of security incidents.
• SDLC Integration : Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of all software development processes.
• Security Trends Awareness : Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams and executive leadership, to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and address organisational challenges.
