Job descriptionEmergency Care : Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Educational Leadership : Serve as an educator within the ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program, providing ongoing academic leadership. Physician Coverage : Ensure adequate physician coverage for the Emergency Department, contributing to the efficient operation of the facility. Collaboration : Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Professionals and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Certification Requirements : Maintain current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Full-Time Opportunity : Join a dynamic team as a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician. Educational Component : Contribute to the education and training of future Emergency Medicine physicians. Position Description :
Seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team.
- This is an exciting opportunity, as physicians will be a designated full-time member of the Emergency Department as well as an educator who demonstrates and provides ongoing academic leadership within the PBCGME-affiliated ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
- 40 hours of physician coverage.
- 22 hours of Advanced Practice Professional coverage.
- Qualified candidates must be BC / BP EM (ABEM or AOBEM), ACLS, and PALS.
- 35 private ED rooms.
- 43,000 annual patient volume.
- Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center.
