Job description4–5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Solid understanding of general accounting principles (pharma experience not required) Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, data manipulation) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Experience with Microsoft Office Suite SAP experience preferred (any module; SAP Analysis for Office is used but not required) Experience creating PowerPoint decks and supporting leadership reporting Ability to conduct research and synthesize findings into clear summaries Familiarity with SAP Analysis for Office
This contract opportunity requires on-site presence several days per week. The Financial Analyst will support core accounting and finance activities, including reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and special projects. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, highly proficient in Excel, and experienced in general accounting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare asset, liability, and financial account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Perform journal entries and support monthly close activities
- Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Report and analyze financial data within internal finance systems
- Assist with transactional accounting responsibilities
- Support financial reporting, research, and presentation building
- Collaborate on special projects within accounting and finance teams
