Night Shift CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist – Gaishin Manufacturing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Schedule : Monday – Thursday, 2 : 30 PM – 12 : 30 AM

Pay Range : $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location : Grand Rapids, MI

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style and mill / turn lathes (Citizen and DMG MORI).

Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and setup sheets.

Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Troubleshoot setups and make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and efficiency.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and Lean principles.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of CNC machining experience (Swiss or mill / turn preferred).

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerancing.

Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative.
