WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Pediatrics for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Pediatrics Nurse a  for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.

Job Function :

  • Day Shift and Night Shift.
  • Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and  records  prescribed medications.
  • Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments  in accordance with  the policy  regarding  the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
  • Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
  • Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.

    • Job Requirements :

  • A bachelor’s  degree in nursing.
  • Certification as a registered nurse for pediatric care in the state of New York.

    • 2 years of experience in hospital setting  as a Peds acute nurse.

  • BLS and ACLS from the AHA are required.
  • PALS certification required.
