Patient Demographics : Adults

Patient Volume / Census : 5090 studies per day

Phone Consults : As needed

Case Mix : Diagnostic Radiology plain films and CTs (primarily ER STATs); optional Ultrasound or MRI reads

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department : 189 total hospital beds

Trauma Level : Level III Trauma Center

EMR System : Epic

Office Equipment Available : GE PACS with Powerscribe dictation

Specialty Backup Available : Other radiologists always on-site (13 present daily)

Support Staff Available : RNs, technologists, radiology admin support

Reason for Coverage : Vacation coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

Temporary Privileges Available : No

Credentialing Timeline : 3060 days

Orientation : In-person orientation required (7 : 30a5 : 00p) Friday prior to start or within 2 weeks before start date

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Diagnostic interpretation of plain films

CT interpretation (ER STAT focus)

Optional : Ultrasound or MRI reads

No procedures, fluoroscopy, or mammography required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Indiana license or IMLC

Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : BLS (AHA issued)

Experience : Minimum 2 years post-residency experience preferred

Other Qualifications : Onsite position only (not remote); must enter hours in Vemsta platform; flu and COVID vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)
