Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers' properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer's termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
  • Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
  • Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
  • Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
  • Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
  • Complete production forms documenting services provided
  • Interact with customers and explain services provided

Essential Job Functions

  • Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and / or dusty locations
  • Prepare the job site for treatment
  • Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
  • Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
  • General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus
  • Ability to work on roofs and high areas
  • Lots of moving around : sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator, and work regularly in confined spaces or narrow passageways

    • What do you need?

  • Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
  • Valid driver's license / clean driving record (company vehicle and gas card provided)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Be flexible with working hours; Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed
  • Licenses / certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us)
  • Basic math skills to follow product label mixing instructions

    Pay Range

    Hourly : $16.50 - $22.40
