Responsibilities Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care RNs (CVPICU RNs) provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. They consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The CVPICU RN assists the physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures, which can include life-saving situations.
