About The Position
Job Title : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist
Profession : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist
Specialty : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist
Duration : 12 months
Shift : 1st
Hours per Shift : 8 hours
Experience : One year of current clinical experience in each modality preferred.
License : Current State license as a Radiographer.
Certifications : ARRT registered.
Must-Have :
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire / transfer.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent.
Description :
Prepares patients and performs imaging procedures under the guidance of a radiologist or other providers.
Operates imaging equipment while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports excellence initiatives.
Engages in positive and effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary.
Currently works in two or more modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Works every weekend with variable days off during the week.
Typical shift is from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
