Physician / Psychologist / New York / Permanent / Child & Adolescent Psychologist Job

A healthcare services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychologist to their growing team in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities :

The Child & Adolescent Psychologist will :

• Evaluate patients to determine the presence of mental health disorders

Develop individualized treatment plans for their patients

Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary

Provide various forms of psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, play therapy, and other evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of young patients

Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises, including suicidal ideation or self-harm.

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

Clinical Psychology for PsyD or PhD

Board Eligible / Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychology
