Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered (Nights)

📍 Elmhurst, NY

Schedule

Shift : 12 : 00 a.m. – 8 : 00 a.m. (Nights)

Days per Week : 5 (35 hrs / week)

Weekends & Holidays : Required (alternating)

Interviews : Onsite only (no virtual options)

Responsibilities

Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.

Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Verify patient identification and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to evaluate imaging results.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EPIC system.

Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Registered Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care setting .

Education :

Completion of an accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or equivalent Military training).

Certifications :

RDMS certification by ARDMS – Required

BLS certification – Preferred
