LPN Ambulatory Care

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details : LPN - PRN Mercy - Ozark, Ar. Overview : Responsible for providing skilled nursing services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients' needs and care. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications : Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent. Licensure : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements. Experience : Must have one year of inpatient / hospital experience. Preferred Experience : Minimum of three years of LPN experience, preferably inpatient / hospital, home health, rehab, or related field.
