Compensation : $130,000 – $160,000 + Bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Lead Python / Django Developer to help drive the development and evolution of our industry-leading data intelligence platform. In this hybrid role based in Richardson, TX , you’ll lead backend and frontend initiatives using Django , Django REST Framework , Vue.js , and SQL , while collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure .

As a technical lead, you’ll be responsible for both execution and mentoring—guiding junior engineers, reviewing code, and contributing to architectural decisions. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, analytics, and platform teams to design scalable, performant, and secure software solutions that directly support business and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python , Django , and Django REST Framework
• Oversee and contribute to intuitive, component-based frontends using Vue.js and modern JavaScript
• Write and optimize SQL queries and manage data models within Azure-hosted relational databases
• Lead architecture discussions and ensure best practices in system design, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support continuous delivery in a cloud environment
• Break down product requirements into detailed technical plans and actionable tasks
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote a high-quality engineering culture
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Partner with customer-facing and analytics teams to shape and support data-driven platform features
