Responsibilities

• Responsible for advising undergraduate students in the development of academic schedules appropriate for stated education goals.
• Takes a proactive approach to academic advising, seeking out contact with students and staff, and providing advising services on request.
• Works with academic departments and other units within Undergraduate Studies to develop advising programs.
• Engages, helps plan, and participates in special projects for Advising First / UGST.
• Recommends changes and additions in existing policies and procedures that positively implement a successful advising program.
• Performs special projects as assigned by Undergraduate Studies.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note : a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting at $44,184, commensurate with education and experience.
