Description :

This position is in a medical facility offering nursing care in a progressive care unit.

The unit has 24 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 4 during both day and night shifts.

Staffing includes a charge nurse, patient care technicians, and monitor technicians.

Telemetry monitoring equipment is utilized within the unit.

Documentation is done using an electronic health record system.

Every other weekend shift is required.

Floating to similar units may occur based on staffing needs.

Candidates must provide care for patients with acute cardiac conditions.

Advanced skills in procedures such as TAVR, ablations, watchman procedures, STEMI interventions, pacing, and cardiac monitoring are necessary.

Staff are sought who are experienced and skilled in cardiac care.
