About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced Account Development Executive to join us in Houston, TX. If you’re a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and growing a strong customer portfolio, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to retain, upsell, and elevate existing accounts.
  • Proactively attract and win new customers through prospecting and networking.
  • Grow your book of business with full support from our pricing and operations teams.
  • Build long-term partnerships by truly understanding each customer’s needs.
  • Travel to meet with customers face-to-face and close business with confidence.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in field sales or account management in transportation, logistics, or brokerage.
  • Data-driven, relationship-focused, and results-oriented.
  • An active book of business, mostly LTL based.
  • No non-compete agreement.
  • Willing to be on the road visiting customers face-to-face to close new businesses.
  • Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record in sales and account management.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
